Well folks, what a horrible week, but what a positive outcome.
People of Park Road are slowly getting back on their feet. We've come a long way in only a very short time and it's thanks to so many people.
People who've volunteered with physical actions and endless donations, be it food and also money.
There are far too many to list, so many faces and companies and if I listed them all, I'd forget too many!
You have all been incredible. We are tired and exhausted, but without your help, we'd feel even worse.
Xmas 2015 is a blur, it feels like a different time of the year, I personally can't remember what day it is.
But it is a time I'm sure I and the residents will never forget, for the good and the bad reasons.
The event itself was so bad, frightening, heartbreaking and people were in total shock, but the community spirit was a true lift for everyone, it was truly overwhelming.
We have a long way to go in some properties, some people are back in a functioning home, some are in a stalemate with insurance, some are homeless, but we are all much further than we could ever be without your help.
For everything that anyone has done towards helping us, on behalf of everyone on Park Road, I can say no more other than THANKYOU.
